Stratton aligned with Nia Jax months ago and the two female stars developed a close bond on WWE SmackDown over the next several months. It was clear as day, though, that Stratton had her eyes on Nia's WWE Women's Title.
Ever since Nia won the belt at SummerSlam 2024 by defeating Bayley, fans were expecting to see Stratton cash in her MITB briefcase on her and betray her in the process.
