On WWE SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton once again teased cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on Nia Jax. During a confrontation with Bayley, the former champion instigated further tension between Stratton and Jax.

At the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, Jax won the WWE Women's Championship by defeating Bayley, courtesy of a distraction by Stratton. Jax's win marked the end of The Role Model's first reign with the current iteration of the WWE Women's Championship.

During her promo on SmackDown, Bayley boldly claimed that only she and Tiffany Stratton could take the title off Nia Jax. She suggested that Stratton could dethrone Jax by using her Money in the Bank contract.
This led to a massive brawl, with The Role Model taking down the current champion by using the Money in the Bank briefcase. Tiffany Stratton then teased cashing in her contract on Jax while she was down. However, The Buff Barbie hesitated as Jax quickly exited the ring.

Tomorrow night at Bad Blood, Bayley will aim to become a two-time WWE Women's Champion. She first won the title at WrestleMania XL by defeating IYO SKY.
Bayley recently became the #1 contender by defeating Naomi on SmackDown. She has also promised to give the latter a shot at the title in the near future.
