Triple H was featured in a very important segment at WWE Bad Blood 2024 where he made a crucial announcement regarding Crown Jewel in a month. In what seemed like a wholesome moment, The Game possibly reconciled with an old rival after 21 years.
Bill Goldberg is the rival in question. The Hall of Famer made his first WWE appearance in two-and-a-half years and was at ringside watching like any other fan in attendance. That was, of course, until Gunther decided to open his mouth and talk trash to the legend, despite calling him his all-time favorite a few weeks ago in front of Bret Hart.
What many seemed to forget was that Triple H and the 57-year-old were bitter rivals in 2003, feuding over the World Heavyweight Championship. Goldberg won the title from The Game before dropping it back to him at the end of the year. In a nice moment, Triple H lifted Goldberg's hand and seemingly made amends after over two decades.

It's interesting to note that Goldberg may still have one last bout left in him. He'd made it clear before that Vince McMahon had promised him a retirement match.
With Goldberg telling Gunther that he's next, that could be the bout that finally sees him say farewell to his in-ring career.
