Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell shared his thoughts on Tiffany Stratton winning the WWE Women's Championship. The star won her first main roster title on the three-hour debut of SmackDown.
In a dramatic turn of events on SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on Nia Jax after helping the former champ win her singles match against Naomi. Bianca Belair hit a KOD on Jax and Tiffany used this opening to cash in with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever.
This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Mantell explained that fans enjoyed seeing a fresh face hold the title, despite the convoluted storyline. The wrestling veteran felt WWE took a while to put the title on Stratton, but finally did it in the best possible way. He enjoyed the segment and rated it an A.
"Did the fans like it? No matter how convoluted it is, at the end, did they like it? If they don't like it you're not gonna have any business. But they liked it. Everybody knew it was coming. I have the same complaint. It takes them forever to finally pull the trigger on something. And when they do, they're sure that it's going to work." He continued, "I think they did a great job tonight. Executed well. I think this is nothing but a winner. I'll have to give this an A tonight." [From 12:50 onwards]
