- Although there hasn’t been an official announcement on whether WWE are going ahead with a Divas match for Battleground, it’s worth noting that Becky Lynch, Charlotte and NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks were brought to St. Louis for the show. Chances of a segment or a match at the pay-per-view involving these NXT Divas are very likely.

With the WWE Intercontinental Title Triple Threat being pulled due to Ryback’s injury, WWE definitely has time on the card to fill with other matches and segments. It should also be noted that WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is also in town for the event.

- Regarding Dean Ambrose, there has been no official word on what he will be doing at Battleground tonight but originally, WWE wanted to have him face Kane at the pay-per-view. Ambrose has been involved in WWE World Heavyweight title feuds against champion Seth Rollins in the previous PPVs but after Brock Lesnar’s arrival, he has been removed from the main event picture.
