Reports: Sheamus to become the unified champion at Battleground

WWE United States champion Sheamus is odds on favourite to win the Battle Royal match at the Battleground pay-per-view.

That may lead to the unification of the US and Intercontinental championships if the Celtic Warrior does manage to win the Intercontinental title.

Earlier, this concept was on the minds of the backstage officials who thought about uniting the titles. But the idea was dropped later.

But if Sheamus claims the IC belt on July 20, we may be in for another unified championship reign.
