Roman Reigns to use plan B if Cody Rhodes is unable to compete at WWE Bad Blood? It's not a Bloodline reunion!

Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens have been going through a rough patch as of late as The Prizefighter is not happy about Rhodes teaming up with Roman Reigns at Bad Blood. While the duo has yet to talk on the issue, tensions are visible, and it leads many to wonder if Owens will be able to convince The American Nightmare to back out.

If such a scenario occurs, one has to wonder what Roman Reigns would do. Well, the Original Tribal Chief will not be left with a choice but to go with plan B. The plan B in question would involve Reigns taking out Jacob Fatu on the SmackDown before Bad Blood, which would leave Fatu unfit to compete at the PLE.

Doing something along these lines could make Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa a singles match, given the Tongans are WWE Tag Team Champions and it won't make sense for one of them to team up with Sikoa. A singles match is exactly what Reigns would want if Cody Rhodes is unable to show up at Bad Blood.

However, the singles match in question could then go Solo Sikoa's way as Jacob Fatu being the man he is, could interfere in the match despite being compromised and help his Tribal Chief. While the angle is speculative, it might happen if Kevin Owens is able to convince Cody Rhodes to back out.

Wrestling veteran criticizes Cody Rhodes' current storyline on SmackDown

As mentioned above, apart from teaming up with Roman Reigns at Bad Blood, Cody Rhodes is having some kind of friction with Kevin Owens. It's also worth noting that The American Nightmare and The Prizefighter very recently went to war at Bash in Berlin.

Recently, the feud being built between Rhodes and Owens was criticized by a former WWE employee. The former employee in question is Vince Russo. During an episode of Sportkseeda Wrestling's BroDown with Vince Russo, the former WWE writer revealed why the promotion is turning Owens heel.

He said:

"Here's why this is such a massive waste of time. We just had a match at the last pay-per-view. We just had Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. They kind of teased a Kevin Owens turn and they did not go there. So what are they doing, bro? They're continuing that same exact story. And why are they continuing the same exact story? I'll tell you why. Because there's going to be a Kevin Owens turn so they can get another Kevin Owens Cody Rhodes match out of it."

Given how Rhodes and Owens behaved with each other on SmackDown's last episode, it looks like the promotion is hinting at another match between them. However, this time, it will be interesting to see what role Randy Orton plays in this potential feud.
