The latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown saw a major title change as Tiffany Stratton successfully cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase after Nia Jax’s title defense against Naomi. The Buff Barbie rushed out during her former friend's title defense and assisted Jax in beating the 37-year-old superstar. However, moments after the bout concluded, Stratton grabbed the opportunity, cashed in her briefcase, and was crowned the new WWE Women’s Champion.

Nia Jax manipulated Tiffany Stratton throughout and threatened her to not cash in the briefcase on her. Tiffy helped Jax defend her title on multiple events and had to pay the price for it. Despite that, Nia replaced The Buff Barbie with Candice LeRae. To prove her worth, Tiffy decided to push on her own and capture the title.

Following her historic win, numerous fans assumed Tiffany Stratton would turn face. However, Dr. Chris Featherstone recently reported that The Buff Barbie is still not listed as a face superstar internally on SmackDown, suggesting she might continue with her present heel gimmick.

“I've been informed that Tiffany Stratton is still not listed on the internal babyface roster after winning the WWE Women's Championship on SmackDown,” wrote Dr. Chris Featherstone.

Tiffany Stratton could defend her title at Royal Rumble 2025

Tiffany had to backstab her friend Nia Jax to clinch the Women’s Championship on the blue brand this week. Tiffy might have to face serious consequences for betraying The Irresistible Force.

On the upcoming episode of SmackDown, Nia Jax might rush out to punish Stratton which could mark the beginning of their rivalry, which would eventually lead to them having a title match at the upcoming Royal Rumble 2025 Premium Live Event which is less than a month away.

However, Stratton's booking is speculative for now and spectators will have to wait and see what the Triple H-led creative has in store for her first world title defense in the coming months.
