Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is a name that became the talk of wrestling town in the last few days. His potential appearance at WWE Bad Blood has created significant buzz. This was not accidental, as Pat McAfee instigated this rumor when he asked Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes a few days ago whether "the big guy" would be back this Saturday.
As per Fightful Select, this is the reason why WWE had to switch the placement of the two headliners — CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre inside a Hell in a Cell and The Bloodline vs. Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. A month ago, Punk and McIntyre were reportedly told they were going to close the event.
This is how Bad Blood always was presented. However, as per the new report, the Hell in a Cell contest will open the event, while Rhodes and Reigns will close. This decision was made after the Georgia Tech Field cinematic vignette WWE filmed and aired on SmackDown a few weeks ago.

Although the company does consider fan reactions, the circumstance behind the tag team main event is likely on account of The Rock's first appearance since the RAW after WrestleMania in April, where he confronted The American Nightmare. Most talent believe Johnson will make an appearance at Bad Blood.
The Rock was at a high school football game 80 minutes away from the location of WWE Bad Blood. He was visiting Apalachee High School for their first home football game following a shooting last month.
Cody Rhodes expects to face The Rock in 2025
Without giving away much, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes responded to when the potential match against The Final Boss would happen.
This was during an interview he did for The Pivot Podcast, where he was asked point-blank about everything that transpired earlier this year. He was pinned by The Rock at WrestleMania XL Night One, after which the legendary star claimed their story has only begun. The American Nightmare dethroned Roman Reigns on Night Two of 'Mania.
"So Rock told me he'd see me when he comes back. My head has been on a swivel everyday since the day after WrestleMania. For when this 'Final Boss', as Rock goes by now, when that music hits, I'll be in 100% in the same spot I was, and I'll be ready for him. [...] If I could give you a guess, I feel like...I hope it happens in the next year."
WWE is in a situation where they have to deliver as there is a lot of buzz around Bad Blood. According to the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, it is the best PLE the company will produce thus far. He also gave away a spoiler for Crown Jewel next month.
