WWE Bad Blood is shaping up to be a fantastic match card, continuing its trend of less is more. Each bout on the card has a purpose and a large degree of buzz surrounding it. But it appears Triple H & Co. are yet to decide on an important aspect. At all times, a WWE PLE is defined as a success based on how much impact the main event had. That is where those in power are in a bit of a pickle.
Per PWInsider, the show-closing match is yet to be determined. Traditionally, Bad Blood features a Hell in a Cell main event. The first three editions had Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker, Triple H vs. Kevin Nash, and Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels, in 1997, 2003, and 2004, respectively.
This time around, CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre has received the honor to carry the legacy forward, as the bitter rivals will step inside Hell in a Cell to seemingly settle their issues once and for all.
Internally, though, some are pushing for Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns to close out the event at the State Farm Arena on October 5. This is on account of both men who have a rich history with Georgia. Especially The American Nightmare, who is the hometown hero. It is also the first time the two iconic rivals are teaming up.

Reigns and Rhodes will take on The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, for the first time, on the same side of the spectrum. There are also rumblings, ever since the Original Tribal Chief brought up Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman during his confrontation with The American Nightmare at the Georgia Tech Field, that Uso is expected to make a huge comeback at Bad Blood.
WWE Bad Blood match card update, Dominik Mysterio in a Shark Cage!
The rest of the card features Women's World Champion Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley, with Dominik Mysterio suspended above the ring inside a Shark Cage. This was made official on Monday, right before Mami attacked Morgan in the ring.
Meanwhile, World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, much like the last two weeks, once again rejected Sami Zayn's challenge. Chances appear to be slim for The Ring General's title defense at Bad Blood.
Other bouts added to the card include Women's Champion Nia Jax vs. Bayley or Naomi, and Damian Priest vs. Finn Bálor in a grudge match WWE has been saving since August.
