The match card for the upcoming Bad Blood Premium Live Event didn't change after the September 23 episode of Monday Night RAW. No new matches were added, and the only modification was the addition of a stipulation for the Women's World Championship match between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan.
As Mami officially announced in the opening segment of Monday Night RAW, per General Manager Adam Pearce's orders, Dominik Mysterio will be suspended above the ring in a shark cage at Bad Blood.
This was an unexpected stipulation that shifted the momentum for Mami and made the reigning Women's World Champion more vulnerable, as Dirty Dom will not be a factor in the title match.
Aside from that, no other change was made to the match card, which currently consists of five matches. Damian Priest will look for revenge on Finn Balor when the two clash at Bad Blood, while the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will team up with Roman Reigns to face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
Additionally, Rhea Ripley will look to dethrone Liv Morgan and reclaim the title she never lost, with Dominik Mysterio locked inside a shark cage, as we said. Last but not least, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will settle their rivalry once and for all when they collide inside Hell in a Cell.
That said, here is the updated match card for Bad Blood as of September 23, 2024:
- Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa
- CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre (Hell in a Cell Match)
- Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor
- Women's World Champion Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley (with Dominik Mysterio locked into a Shark Cage above the ring)
- Women's Champion Nia Jax vs. Bayley or Naomi
What other matches could be added to the Bad Blood match card?
Less than two weeks before the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, WWE has yet to finalize the match card for the event in Atlanta, Georgia.
Fans expect at least one more match to be added, as there are a few storylines open on both RAW and SmackDown.
On the blue brand, Nia Jax will defend her WWE Women’s Championship against either Naomi or Bayley. The latter two will face each other this Friday night, with the winner facing The Irresistible Force at Bad Blood.
Meanwhile, on RAW, Sami Zayn has challenged Gunther to a match for the World Heavyweight Championship, but the reigning champion has turned down the challenge. Yet, this could change next week, and the two superstars could have a rematch from WrestleMania 40.
As for the new Intercontinental Champion, Jey Uso, it is unknown yet if WWE plans to have him defend his title as early as the October 5th premium live event.
