- The Ryback vs CM Punk match ended in a rather controversial fashion when Punk went downstairs and felled ‘Big Hungry’ with a mule-kick to the the family jewels. The brutal ending to the match was brought on by the fact that the WWE felt that neither man needed to lose the match, given the rather weak build-up to the match over the previous weeks on RAW and Smackdown.

- The transmission of the PPV was disrupted by a power outage which added to the anger of the 12,000 fans in attendance at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York last night. The outage knocked out the WWE’s video wall and set lights but the arena lights inexplicably stayed on.
