After the June 7 episode of Monday Night Raw concluded in Montreal, Canada, we have one another new entrant for the Battle Royal match that will take place at Battleground PPV to decide the new Intercontinental Champion.
Current United States Champion Sheamus has been added to the pay-per-view match which will take place on July 20 in Tampa, Florida.
The title has been vacant since former champion Bad News Barrett suffered an injury on Smackdown and with him being sidelined for a long time, WWE vacated the championship and organised a Battle Royal to crown a new champion.
