The WWE World Heavyweight title did not change hands at Battleground as John Cena managed to retain the belts by successfully defending it in the Fatal 4-Way match.

And Roman Reigns, who was tipped as one of the favourites to win the titles, fell short towards the end even when it looked like he was on his way to achieve a win after gaining some great momentum in the dying stages.

But an Orton RKO and Cena’s Attitude Adjustment on Kane ended his efforts of winning the belts as Cena stood tall yet again lifting the gold high up in the air.

But Reigns didn’t seem to be demoralised totally as he commented this after his match got over.

Meanwhile, shortly after we learned that The Miz is the new Intercontinental Champion, Bad News Barrett issued a warning to The Miz via his official Twitter account.
