Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns are among the two of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time. Their feud is widely recognized as the greatest in the modern era of wrestling. Reigns vs. Lesnar was the first match to headline three different WrestleMania events. Both have been managed by Paul Heyman, have had long runs with the Universal Championship, and are the only two superstars to have ever beaten The Undertaker at WrestleMania. Brock Lesnar is a true Beast, having won world titles in both the UFC and WWE, the only man to do so.

Roman Reigns debuted in 2012 when Lesnar already was one of the biggest names in combat sports. Since then, Reigns worked towards becoming The Tribal Chief. He is a multi-time World Champion, and a Grand Slam Champion, had the longest reign with the world title in four decades, and has headlined WrestleMania more than anybody else in WWE history. SummerSlam 2022

Brock Lesnar challenged Roman Reigns for this WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam 2022, in what was booked by WWE as Last Time Ever. It was made a Last Man Standing match between the two veterans, where both superstars took each other to their limits. Fans remember this match where Lesnar lifted the whole ring with his forklift. In the end, with the help of The Usos, Reigns managed to bury Lesnar under the announcer’s desk and won the Last Man Standing match.

WrestleMania 38

WWE billed the main event of WrestleMania 38 as the Greatest WrestleMania Match of all time, and it had every reason to do so. The WWE Champion Brock Lesnar went against The Universal Champion Roman Reigns and the titles were meant to be unified in this fight. The two superstars had a 12-minute-long match, and a little help from The Bloodline helped Reigns tip the scales in his favor.

Crown Jewel 2021

Roman Reigns defeated John Cena at SummerSlam 2021, but his happiness was short-lived. Brock Lesnar made his long-awaited return to WWE and challenged Reigns for the title. This set up a bout in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At Crown Jewel, Reigns managed to defeat Brock Lesnar and retained the title. However, this victory wasn’t clean as he had some help from The Bloodline.

SummerSlam 2018

Brock Lesnar had held the Universal Championship for more than 500 days, walking into SummerSlam 2018. There, he faced Roman Reigns, the guy who had not defeated Brock Lesnar until now. Their match went back and forth for quite a while. Braun Strowman decided to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase that night and this distracted Lesnar quite a bit. Reigns utilized the opportunity to do the unthinkable and finally conquered the beast.

Greatest Royal Rumble

At the WWE Greatest Royal Rumble 2018, Roman Reigns challenged Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. It was a Steel Cage match, and the first one to escape from the structure was to be crowned the winner. Towards the end, Reigns speared Lesnar right through the cell, and both superstars fell out of the ring. However, it was Lesnar who fell on the ground first and was thus declared the winner.

WrestleMania 34

Brock Lesnar was the Universal Champion for a year walking into WrestleMania 34. Despite that, Roman Reigns was the favorite to win the title, given his red-hot form at the time. However, the result of the match was quite a shock to fans, as Lesnar sent Reigns to Suplex City and managed to retain the gold yet again.

WrestleMania 31*

This was supposed to be the first singles match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, and for a few minutes, it even was. Roman Reigns won the Royal Rumble 2015 and challenged Lesnar in what was Reigns’ first WrestleMania main event. Both superstars took each other to their limits, before the music of Seth Rollins hit the titantron. Mr. Money in the Bank cashed in his briefcase to pull off the heist of the century in what was the first time the contract was cashed at the event. While this technically was a triple threat match, fans remember this as the first time Reigns and Lesnar went against each other.
