Fifteen WWE Championships, most wishes granted for Make-A-Wish, movie star, face of the company for a decade, TV show host – we’re short of breath just enumerating the feathers in John Cena’s cap.
One thing that doesn’t come to the fore of everyone’s mind when they think of Cena is his connection to the funny bone. His more famous movie roles have been of the comic persuasion and Cena has made it obvious time after time that he has a natural flair for funny business.
The leader of the Cenation thought we needed reminding and did this skit for Fast Company:
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Cena recently hosted the ESPYs and had the audience, which had the who’s who of the sporting world in it, in S-P-L-I-T-S! Here’s his opening bit:
Cena returned to the WWE in May after a six-month rehabilitation for a shoulder injury. He showed up for a segment at WrestleMania 32, where he played cavalry to The Rock against the menacing Wyatts.
Cena is trading punches with AJ Styles and The Club, with the latter winning their first meeting at Money In The Bank. He has found unlikely allies in Enzo and Cass, and the trio will clash with The Club at Battleground.
