What’s the story?
For years, the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony has been a highlight of WrestleMania Weekend for fans and WWE Superstars alike. The Superstars of today and the fans get a chance to pay tribute to their heroes of yesteryear.
There’s always a Hall of Fame Inductee that’s considered to be the headliner. This year, that man is Kurt Angle. According to Wrestling Inc, WWE cameras are following Kurt around for a WrestleMania Diary, chronicling his time in Orlando for WrestleMania Weekend.

In case you didn’t know...
Kurt Angle was only on the main roster of WWE for a little under seven years, but the mark he left on the company in that short time is indelible. Angle won almost every accolade in the company that you could possibly think of. That includes completing the WWE Grand Slam by winning the WWE Championship, Tag Team Championships, Intercontinental Championship and European Championship.

Angle left the company in August of 2006 when he was granted an early release from his WWE contract due to health issues. Angle moved to TNA and wrestled there until March of 2016, making his tenure in TNA longer than his WWE tenure.
It was announced in January 2017 that Angle would be the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame this year.
The heart of the matter
WWE posted a video to their YouTube channel today that chronicled Kurt’s arrival in Orlando for his Hall of Fame induction. In the video, Angle states that it’s a great feeling to be in Orlando for WrestleMania 33 and that he’s shocked that he’s being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Kurt intimated that it was great to be back in WWE and that he and his family will enjoy the experience. He’ll enjoy being back with the WWE while his children will enjoy the close proximity to Disney World. The video also showed Angle interacting with fans in the airport, including posing for photos. The full video is worth a watch.
What’s next?
Kurt Angle headlines the 2017 Class of the WWE Hall of Fame. The ceremony will take place on 31/03/2017 at 8 pm EST/7 pm CST.
