Bayley wasn’t drafted on the first episode of SmackDown Live! and this still hasn’t done enough to allay murmurs of an imminent main roster call-up for the WWE’s resident Hugger.
With Sasha Banks also scheduled to have a mystery Tag Team partner at Battleground against the team of Charlotte and Dana Brooke, many still feel that it would be Bayley who steps up from NXT to be in the corner of her friend.

But apparently, according to allwrestlingnews.com, this is not so.

It is rumoured that Bayley is still very much needed to lend credibility and stability to the Yellow brand following the draft of Nia Jax, Carmella, Alexa Bliss and Eva Marie to SmackDown.
It is also expected that Bayley isn’t the mystery partner of Sasha Banks at Battleground because that would deduct from a potential feud between the Boss and Charlotte, going into SummerSlam.
The WWE reportedly wants to have Banks in a program with Charlotte for the WWE Women’s Championship for SummerSlam, and inserting another big draw and well known name, that is Bayley, into the picture would be counter-intuitive to the cause for both women.
It is also worh noting that Bayley is only expected to make her main roster bow in September as of now.
