Tyler Cole Senerchia, born on May 4, 1999, is an American professional wrestler known by his ring name, Hook (often stylized as HOOK). Currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), he holds the title of FTW Champion—a championship established by his father, Taz—in his second reign, tying the record.

In November 2020, Senerchia debuted in AEW as Hook, aligning himself with his father Taz as part of Team Taz. His first match aired in December 2021 on AEW Rampage, where he defeated Fuego Del Sol with a half-nelson choke named Redrum. Following praise for his debut, Hook signed a contract with AEW. He continued his momentum with wins over Bear Bronson and Aaron Solo, sparking a feud with Q. T. Marshall that culminated in a victory at Revolution's pre-show.

Hook later collaborated with Danhausen and won the FTW Championship by defeating Ricky Starks. He then teamed up with Jungle Boy to take on The Firm, eventually losing the title to Jungle Boy at Blood & Guts. However, Hook regained the title at All In Zero Hour, tying the record with his father. Despite a loss to Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship, Hook's career continues to rise in AEW.

Hook tattoos

Among his notable inkings, HOOK has a prominent skeleton tattoo located below his chest, featuring detailed skeletal arms and legs. On his right upper chest, Roman numerals VI III X XI are displayed, accompanied by a sword, creating a visually captivating design.

Additionally, there's a tattoo of a fox-like animal on his left pectoral muscle, and his right deltoid, a devil holding a trident is inked. Another tattoo beneath the skeleton design reads "GOD HEARING," adding a spiritual dimension to his body art. Hook finisher

Hook's finisher, known as Redrum, is a half-Nelson choke, also referred to as a kata ha jime or cobra choke. This hold involves the wrestler placing one arm in a half-nelson position while gripping the opponent's neck with the other arm, often incorporating body scissors for added pressure. The move, popularized by his father Taz as the Tazmission, has been adopted by AEW wrestler Hook as his signature maneuver.

The term kata ha jime originates from judo and is one of the twelve constriction techniques in Kodokan Judo's Shime-waza list. In kataha jime, pressure is applied to the carotid arteries using the lapel of the judo uniform, with control exerted over the opponent's left arm as part of the technique.
