American professional wrestler Michael Austin Wardlow was born on January 19, 1988. He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) under the ring name Wardlow. He was a three-time AEW TNT champion in the past.

In his debut match for American Revolution Wrestling, an independent organization, on March 15, 2014, Wardlow lost to Nickie Valentino in a professional wrestling match. Wardlow started competing in various promotions in the ensuing years, such as the International Wrestling Cartel (IWC). Wardlow defeated RJ City in December 2016 to win the vacant IWC Heavyweight Championship, earning him his first title.

There would be two more victories for Wardlow. Wardlow tried out for a developmental contract with WWE at the same time, but he was not given a job offer. He began training with Kurt Angle shortly after that. He won titles in the independent circuit for a further year after that.

In March of 2019, Wardlow won the IWC Super Indy Championship; however, he lost it to Josh Alexander in August. Wardlow took up the Revenge Pro Wrestling World Title in 2019.

Promoting Wardlow's upcoming debut, a video package aired during All Elite Wrestling's (AEW) All Out pay-per-view on August 31, 2019. On the November 13 episode of Dynamite, Wardlow made his AEW debut by fighting Cody. He would thereafter join up with Cody's adversary, MJF, and serve as his bodyguard.

After using five powerbombs in a row, Wardlow turned heel and defeated Griff Garrison on the fourth episode of AEW Dynamite, airing on October 20, 2023. Dynamite's October 10th episode featured Wardlow's referee stoppage victory over Matt Sydal. Later, he defeated Ryan Nemeth on the October 18 episode of Dynamite. He hinted that he would be going for AEW World Champion MJF after the match.
