Uzumaki is a Japanese horror manga created by Junji Ito. The tale centers on Kirie Goshima, a high school student, and Shuichi Saito, her lover. The village of Kurôzu-cho, also known as Closed village or Black Vortex hamlet in Japan, is a small fictional village plagued by spiral-related events. As the story develops, Kirie and Shuichi experience how the spiral curse influences those in their immediate vicinity, gradually turning spirals into the main emphasis of their life.

Uzumaki anime streaming platforms

Uzumaki anime series will premiere on Adult Swim on September 29, 2024. The same will be available to stream on Max the following day. Studio Drive is the series' animator, and Williams Street, Adult Swim's in-house production division, and Production I.G USA are its co-producers. When did Uzumaki come out?

Uzumaki manga series by Junji Ito originally came out on 19th January 1998 to 30th August 1999. The chapters first appeared as a serial in Shogakukan's weekly seinen manga magazine Big Comic Spirits from 1998 to 1999. Between August 1998 and September 1999, the chapters were collected into three bound volumes. Shogakukan published an omnibus edition in March 2000, and a second one in August 2010.

The series was serialized in English by Viz Media in its monthly magazine Pulp from February 2001 to August 2002 in North America. Viz Media subsequently released the volumes in October 2001–October 2002, with a reprint from October 2007–February 2008, and a hardcover omnibus edition in October 2013.

When will the English Dub for the Uzumaki anime be released?

The pilot episode of the Uzumaki anime series will air on September 29, 2024 in Japanese with English subtitles. Subsequently, the English dub for the same will be released on October 4, 2024. With only 4 episodes to be released, the English dub episodes will air within a week’s gap from the last and finally conclude the series on October 25, 2024.
