Aaron James Judge is one of the veteran players in Major League Baseball (MLB) and as of October 2024, he plays for the New York Yankees. He debuted in the MLB with the New York Yankees on August 13, 2016, after they selected him in the first round of the 2013 MLB Draft. Interestingly, he was also drafted by the Oakland Athletics in 2010 but at that time, he chose not to join MLB. Instead, he chose to play college baseball at California State University, Fresno for the Fresno State Bulldogs.

Aaron Judge has quickly established himself as one of the modern greats in Major League Baseball (MLB) since his debut. He is notable for being a six-time MLB All-Star player as of 2024. Moreover, he has also achieved other awards like the Silver Slugger Award, Hank Aaron Award, Roberto Clemente Award, and Rookie of the Year Award amongst others. He has 315 home runs in his career as of October 2024.

Aaron Judge is notable for wearing jersey #99 during his games as per Heavy. Regarding his jersey number, he revealed (via NJ) that 99 is not his favorite number. It was actually given to him during spring training and since then, he has continued to wear it. He really likes the number 44 based on his Instagram account name @thejudge44. However, it cannot wear that number as it belonged to former MLB player and Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson and the jersey number has been retired as of 2024. However, Judge does not mind it too much as 44 is not his most liked number.

He revealed in an interview with NJ that the number he actually likes the most is 35. However, jersey #35 was then assigned to New York Yankees member Michael Pineda. He thought about switching to jersey #35 once Michael Pineda was gone. That being said, he does not mind wearing jersey #99 throughout his career either as per NJ.

Aaron Judge wore the number 29 while playing college baseball for the Fresno State Bulldogs baseball team. During college, Judge was a three-time All-Conference team selection. The Bulldogs retired his jersey #29 in 2023 as per YES Network.
