Craig John Counsell has been serving as the new manager for the Chicago Cubs since the 2024 MLB season. Nicknamed “Chicken”, he is also the former manager of the Milwaukee Brewers (from 2015-2023). Prior to his career as a manager, Craig Counsell had been a baseball player, who served as a second baseman for teams like the Colorado Rockies, Florida Marlins, Los Angeles Dodgers, Arizona Diamondbacks and Milwaukee Brewers between 1995-2011. After retiring, Counsell has also worked as a part-time color analyst for the Milwaukee Brewers’ radio broadcasts.
