Corbin Burnes is an American professional baseball player for the Arizona Diamondbacks, playing as a pitcher, as of January 2025. Burnes was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2016 MLB draft and made his professional baseball debut for the Arizona League Brewers. After playing in minor leagues, he made his MLB debut on July 10, 2018, for the Milwaukee Brewers and played for the team until 2023 before transferring to the Baltimore Orioles. Burnes played for the Orioles for a season and on December 30, 2024, he signed a six-year contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Playing for the Milwaukee Brewers, in 2021, he earned the National League Cy Young Award. His career achievements includes being selected as an MLB All-Star player four times, in consecutive years: 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
