
Gavin Thomas Lux of Kenosha, Wisconsin, United States is playing as the second baseman for the Cincinnati Reds in Major League Baseball (MLB), as of February 2025. He initially played high school baseball at Indian Trail High School in Kenosha, Wisconsin, United States. He then committed to play college baseball at Arizona State University but was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers as the #20th overall pick in the 2016 MLB draft.
Gavin Lux started his professional baseball career with the AZL Dodgers of the Arizona Complex League in 2016. He eventually was called up and made his MLB debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers on September 2, 2019. Since then, he has become an NL triples leader with seven triples in the 2022 MLB season.
