Gerrit Alan Cole, nicknamed, "Chef G" is an American baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees in the MLB. Hailing from Newport Beach, California, United States, He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates with the #1st overall pick in the 2011 MLB Draft and eventually made his MLB debut on June 11, 2013. Since then, he has been a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates for five years and Houston Astros for two years before joining the New York Yankees in 2020.
