Lewis explained that soon after being drafted by the Minnesota Twins, he "bought a Toyota Camry, suped it up with a matte black wrap and put a Batmobile logo." The infielder went on to explain that he may need to second guess the Batmobile design on his car. "I think people start recognizing who I am now driving, so I have to kinda get rid of the wrap a little bit," he shared.
The Batmobile may not seem too extreme for any athlete growing up with a fondness for Batman, however, he soon revealed that his obsession follows him into the bedroom.
"I do have the bed sheets still," he said. “The fiancée is trying to get rid of those as soon as a possible," the Twins star continued, saying that he currently owns Batman pillow cases and bed sheets.
Royce Lewis will have an opportunity to be a hero if he can lead the Twins to the World Series
While Royce Lewis may never find himself with an opportunity to envoke vigilante justice, he will have an opportunity to shine as a hero for the Minnesota Twins and their fans this season.
Currently, the Minnesota Twins find themselves holding onto an American League Wild Card spot and will be looking to yet again reach the postseason. This is where Lewis can step up and lead his team to the promised land. Lewis has all of the tools to help the Twins make a deep postseason run and attempt to help secure their first World Series title since 1991.

For Lewis, remaining healthy may be his biggest obstacle as he has been limited to only 30 games this season. That being said, in his limited action this season, Lewis has been sensational, racking up 11 home runs, 21 RBIs and a .278 batting average. If he can stay healthy throughout the postseason, he very well could have the opportunity to flash his own heroics.
