Randy Arozarena was born on February 28, 1995, in Mantua, Cuba. He is a Mexican professional baseball outfielder for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was previously with the St. Louis Cardinals. Arozarena signed with the Cardinals as a free agent in July 2016. He spent the next few years with the minor league teams. He was promoted to the Major Leagues on August 12, 2019 and made his debut two days later.

Arozarena was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays on January 9, 2020. In the 2020 American League Championship Series against the Houston Astros, he earned the MVP honors. Added to that he has also earned ALCS MVP and Babe Ruth Award in 2020. Internationally, he represented the Mexican National Team in the 2023 World Baseball Classic tournament. The team finished third in the tournament. For his performances, he was named to the All-Classic Baseball team.
