The Seattle Mariners are a baseball team located in Seattle, Washington. They were established in 1977 and competed in the American League West division of Major League Baseball (MLB).
The Seattle Mariners have been playing their home games at T-Mobile Park since 1999. Previously, the team played their home games at the Kingdome stadium from 1997 to 1999. The team won 3 West Division titles in 1995. 1997 and 2001.
Over the years, the Mariners have achieved four playoff appearances, their most notable being their journey to the American League Championship Series in 1995. Remembered as "The Double " it was a moment for the Mariners when Edgar Martinez hit a game-winning double in the inning of Game 5 leading them to a series victory.
Beyond their performance on the field, the Mariners actively engage to contribute to the Seattle community through outreach programs and charitable initiatives.
Seattle Mariners’ Spring Training Schedule
The 2024 Cactus League Spring Training schedule of the Seattle Mariners has been announced. The season will start on Saturday, February 24 and will run until Sunday, March 24. Over the course of these 30 days, the Mariners will be participating in a total of 31 games. All their home games are scheduled to take place at the Peoria Sports Complex in Arizona.
During this spring training season, there have been two rest days on March 4 and March 20. Additionally, there are two exhibition games scheduled for March 25 and 26 at Petco Park, in San Diego before the opening day.
