Tommy Edman is a professional baseball player with the Los Angeles Dodgers in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on May 9, 1995, in Pontiac, Michigan, and has played college baseball for the Stanford Cardinals. In the sixth round of the 2016 MLB Draft, he was selected by the Cardinals and initially played in their minor league system.

Edman made his MLB debut on June 8, 2019, playing for the St. Louis Cardinals. Since then, he has played in positions such as second base, shortstop, and outfield. While playing for the St. Louis Cardinals, Edman received the Gold Glove Award in 2021 and the Fielding Bible Award in 2022. On July 29, 2024, he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers, through a three-team trade. While playing for the Dodgers in 2024, he earned the NLCS MVP honor and won the World Series.
