Walker Buehler is an American baseball pitcher who played for the Los Angeles Dodgers in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 2017 to 2022 and in 2024. He was born on July 28, 1994, in Lexington, Kentucky. Buehler is known for his fastball and control on the mound. After playing college baseball at Vanderbilt University, Buehler was selected by the Dodgers in the first round of the 2015 MLB Draft, with the 24th overall pick. He then started his professional career in the minor leagues before debuting for the Dodgers on September 7, 2017.
He has been a member of the Dodgers' pitching staff since then, playing for the team as of 2024, except for missing the 2023 season.
