Kaleb Banks is a forward for the Tulane Green Wave and plays as a junior in the 2024-2025 season. Banks hails from Hampton, Georgia. He transferred from Indiana University, where he played two seasons. Throughout his two-year tenure with the Hoosiers, Banks appeared in 45 games, averaging 2.3 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. He registered a career-high 12 points against Kennesaw State in the 2023-24 season. He also had career-high single-game statistics against Louisville, grabbing eight rebounds, three assists, three steals, and three blocks. Kaleb as a freshman at Indiana played in 24 games, scoring an average of 2.0 points with 0.9 rebounds per game. He had a remarkable debut, with five points, one rebound, and one assist against Morehead State. Banks registered all six free throws for eight points, one rebound, and one assist against Bethune-Cookman. He recorded career-highs with seven rebounds against Ohio State and added eight points in a victory over Elon.

Kaleb Banks began his high school basketball career at Fayette County High School in Hampton, Georgia. He scored over 2,000 career points and was named Georgia Class 4A Player of the Year as a senior. Banks was a four-star recruit from the 2022 class, ranked as the No. 78th player by ESPN, the No. 84th player by 247Sports, and the No. 131st player by Rivals. He received scholarship offers from some of the top programs in the nation before committing to Indiana, including Georgia, Alabama, Clemson, Mississippi State, Xavier, and Georgia Tech. Banks entered the transfer portal in March of 2024 and committed to the Tulane Green Wave to continue his collegiate basketball career.
