The Samford Bulldogs is the men's basketball team representing Samford University in the NCAA Division I Basketball. The Bulldogs compete in the Southern Conference. The Bulldogs have made three appearances in the NCAA Tournament in 1999, 2000, and most recently in 2024, earning one postseason win. Their achievements include winning two titles in the Southern Conference Tournament as well as winning the Athletic Sun Conference thrice in 1996, 1997, and 1999.

For his remarkable coaching career, he won the NHSCA Coach of the Year in 2018 and SoCon Coach of the Year thrice in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
