Tyleik Williams is one of the strongest defensive players who will play his final year of college football with the Ohio State Buckeyes. Williams went to Unity Reed High School where he was ranked the No.10 defensive tackle by 247Sports. The four-star from Manassas was ranked the No.6 player in the state of Virginia and the 164th overall recruit in the class of 2021. Williams possesses a superb combination of speed and athleticism that goes along with his 6-foot-3 and 327-pound frame.

The talented defensive tackle from Manassas started his collegiate football journey with the Ohio State Buckeyes over offers from Alabama, Duke, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Maryland, Michigan State, Penn State, Ole Miss, Temple, Tennesse and USC. In his true freshman year, Williams saw action in 12 games, recording 16 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and five sacks. The following year as a sophomore, Williams appeared in all 13 games totalling 21 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss. But in 2023 as a junior, Williams witnessed a breakout campaign where he totalled an impressive 53 tackles including 10 tackles for loss, three sacks and five pass breakups. In three years with OSU, Williams accumulated 90 tackles and eight sacks. He was Ohio State’s best defensive lineman in 2023 and will return to the Buckeyes for his senior year of college football. Despite rumours of him entering the 2024 NFL Draft, Williams opted to continue his stay at Ohio State for one more additional year.
