UP Warriorz is a women's cricket franchise based in Uttar Pradesh and owned by Capri Global Holdings Pvt. Ltd. The franchise was sold to the owners at a whopping sum of INR 757 crore.

UP Warriorz made a total of 16 signings of players during the recently-concluded Women's Premier League (WPL) auction 2023. Deepti Sharma, Alyssa Healy, Devika Vaidya, Tahila McGrath, Shabmin Ismail, Sophie Ecclestone and Rajeshwari Gayakwad are the top-signings made by the franchise in the auction.

Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma is likely to don the captain's armband for the UP Warriorz in the inaugural edition of WPL 2023.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently announced the complete schedule of WPL 2023. The tournament, which is touted to be a game-changer for women's cricket, will be played from March 4 to 26 across two venues in Mumbai.

UP Warriorz are scheduled to play their first game against Gujarat Giants on March 5 at Dr DY Patil Sports Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
