Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale-hero shooter game published by Electronic Arts and developed by Respawn Entertainment. The game has been a huge success on PC and consoles, and a mobile version is expected to be released this year, in 2022. As part of the Limited Regional Launch, the game was initially made available in a few countries. Players in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and Colombia can now test Apex Legends Mobile.

Players will be able to play battle royale on the classic World's Edge map during this limited regional launch. They can also experiment with three game modes: Team DeathMatch, Mini Battle Royale, 3v3 Arenas, and Ranked Battle Royale matches.

Platforms available

The game is currently available as a soft launch in select countries for both iOS and Android devices.

How to Purchase/Download

If you live in one of the soft launch countries and have pre-registered to try out the game, the installation process is quite simple. Just head over to the Playstore and you will find “Install” upon searching for Apex Legends Mobile. For iOS users, pre-registration is not required and can install directly from the App Store.

The game can be installed in the rest of the countries by changing the location setting to that of an available country. This may require the need for a VPN and changing location settings on your phone.

System Requirements

For Android users, Android 8.1 with Open GL 3.0 or higher. The game supports Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, Huawei, Motorola, Samsung, and Lenovo phones. Minimum 3GB of free storage and RAM must be at least 3 GB.

For iOS, you'll need an iPhone 6S or later.

Version of the operating system: 10.0 or later

CPU: Apple A9 or higher 3GB of free storage space

RAM must be at least 2GB.
