Zenless Zone Zero

After the success of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, miHoYo is coming up with another action-roleplaying game with an urban fantasy setting called Zenless Zone Zero. The Chinese developers would release this game in China, but the worldwide publication would be done under the trade name, HoYoverse.

Zenless Zone Zero Gameplay

This urban fantasy action role-playing game would feature roguelike game mechanics. As for the other elements of the game, miHoYo would be using their tried and tested features from past games like multiple playable characters and a gacha system to unlock them.

Zenless Zone Zero Plot

Zenless Zone Zero would be set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity is driven to extinction by alien beings from portals called the Ethereal. The surviving humans have formed a futuristic bastion, New Eridu, using the Ethereal technology to stand against the invaders.

The player would take on the role of Proxy to explore the hostile alternate dimension called Hollow. As the story progresses, Proxy hires recruits to future explore the Hollow and fight the Ethereal.

Like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. miHoYo will be releasing this upcoming urban fantasy action role-playing game on multiple platforms like Microsoft Windows, iOS, Android, and PlayStation 5.

Zenless Zone Zero Weapons

This urban fantasy action role-playing game would feature special items called W-Engines that would improve a character’s stats upon equipping. These W-Engines are equivalent to Weapons in Genshin Impact and Light Cones in Honkai: Star Rail. The W-Engines would be divided into three categories: S-Tier, A-Tier, and B-Tier.

Zenless Zone Zero Characters

When the game begins, the players would get to choose between a male and a female character. Depending on the pick, the other character would become a NPC as we have already seen with Traveller in Genshin Impact. As the game progresses, the Proxy recruits new characters via the game’s gacha system. The characters would usually have a rating of S-Tier and A-Tier.
