What is the lore behind Steady in Fortnite?

Steady is one of the more minimal yet exciting Emotes in Fortnite. The Emote utilizes the viral song Own Brand Fresstyle by FelixThe1st & Dreya Mac and was the second ever Emote to be featured in a Battle Pass. Much like other Icon Series Emotes, there is little to no lore attached to Steady in Fortnite, with the Emote primarily being another cosmetic that players could acquire through the Battle Pass.

What are the cosmetics related to Steady in Fortnite?

Much like most other Emotes, Steady is not a part of any Set in Fortnite. It was featured in the Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass on Page 7, allowing players to unlock it in exchange for Battle Stars. Since Battle Pass cosmetics are not brought back to the game, it is unlikely that the Emote will ever be featured as part of a bundle or Set in the future.

Unfortunately, Steady was introduced to the game as part of the Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass and like every other Battle Pass cosmetic, it was vaulted after Chapter 3 Season 3 ended, making it impossible for players to acquire this Emote anymore by any means. Steady was last seen as part of the Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass, which ended on September 17, 2022. Since the Emote was a Battle Pass cosmetic, it was exclusively available to owners of the Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass and will never return to the game, not even in the Fortnite Item Shop.
