Often referred to as the Tricky Triangle, the Highpoint.com 400 has been officially renamed as The Great American Getaway 400 Presented by VisitPA.com for its 2024 edition. It is an oval superspeedway that has been on the NASCAR calendar for decades. Since its inauguration in 1974, the race has been held at the Pocono Raceway, Long Pond, Pennsylvania, USA.

The superspeedway lasts for 160 laps, divided into three stages and is 400 miles long. The first stage is 30 laps long with the second and third stages being 65 laps each.

The Great American Getaway 400 history

Since its first race in 1974, Pocono Raceway has been a staple on the NASCAR calendar ever since. Until 2011, the race was a 500-mile-long event with 200 laps. It was then shortened and became a 400-mile-long race from the 2012 NASCAR season onwards. The track was also used for a second race from 1974-2021 and was a part of the Cup Series calendar as a shortened 325-mile race. It was then replaced by the World Wide Technology Raceway from the 2022 season onward.
