The Toyota/Save Mart 350 will be the NASCAR Cup Series action at Sonoma Raceway for the first time in the 2025 cup Series season. The circuit is among the various challenges offered by the NASCAR Cup Series to the drivers instead of their usual oval racing formats. The Toyota/ Save Mart 350 was added to the NASCAR calendar in 1989. It was a replacement for the Budweiser 400 Riverside which stopped in 1988. The race has followed several track layouts, including the addition of the Chute in 1998 from turns 4-7. The first Toyota/ Save Mart 350 race was won by Ricky Rudd of King Racing. Kyle Larson won the race for Hendrick Motorsport in the 2024 Cup Series.
