LIV golfers have shone in various golf events aside from their own circuit. The Saudi circuit players are banned from the PGA Tour but usually compete in Asian Tour and DP World Tour events, along with other official golf tournaments.

This year, Bryson DeChambeau and Richard Bland were phenomenal with their game, as both won Major tournaments, while other LIV players, such as Joaquin Niemann and Peter Uihlein, were impressive on the Asian Tour. Here are 11 LIV golfers who won tournaments in other professional events.


LIV golfers who won non-LIV events in 2024

#1 Bryson DeChambeau

Bryson DeChambeau was phenomenal with his game at the 2024 US Open, held at the notorious Pinehurst No. 2 golf course. He won his second Major by registering a one-shot win over Rory McIlroy.


#2 Richard Bland

Richard Bland made his senior Major debut at the Senior PGA Championship with a victory. The 51-year-old registered a three-stroke win in the game, held at Michigan's The Golf Club at Harbor Shores.

Interestingly, the English golfer won two senior Majors this year. After the Senior PGA Championship, he won the US Senior Open by defeating Hiroyuki Fujita in a playoff.


#3 David Puig

Spanish golfer David Puig won the 2024 Malaysia Open, an Asian Tour event. He had a decent start to the game and shot two rounds of 66 and 71, then carded two back-to-back rounds of 62 and won the event by two strokes over Jeung Hun Wang.


#4 Carlos Ortiz

LIV golfer Carlos Ortiz also won an Asian Tour event in 2024. He was impressive at the International Series Oman, held at Al Mouj Golf from February 22 to 25, and registered a win over fellow LIV player Louis Oosthuizen. He shot four rounds of 67, 69, 68, and 65 to settle for a score of 19-under and register a four-stroke win.


#5 Peter Uihlein

Peter Uihlein won the International Series Qatar, held from November 27 to 30. In the Asian Tour event, the American golfer was impressive with his game and shot four rounds of 68, 64, 71, and 69 to register a five-shot win over Charl Schwartzel.


#6 Joaquin Niemann

Joaquin Niemann has had an impressive season in LIV Golf, finishing second in the season-ending standings. He also played remarkably well on the Asian Tour. The Chilean golfer recently won the 2024 PIF Saudi International tournament, which concluded on December 7. He defeated Caleb Surratt and Cam Smith in a playoff to win the tournament.


#7 Jinichiro Kozuma

Another LIV golfer, Jinichiro Kozuma, won the 2024 Sansan KBC Augusta Golf Tournament, a Japan Tour event. After four rounds of the tournament, he tied for the lead with Yuwa Kosaihira at 19-under and finally won the event by defeating a fellow Japanese golfer in a playoff.


#8 Kieran Vincent

Although Kieran Vincent struggled in LIV Golf in 2024, he was impressive in other professional events. He won the 2024 KitKat Cash and Carry Pro-Am, a Sunshine Tour event, by four strokes.


#9 Patrick Reed

LIV golfers have been impressive on the Asian Tour this year. Patrick Reed was remarkable at the Link Hong Kong Open, held at Hong Kong Golf Club from November 21 to 24, registering an easy win. He shot 66 in the final round to settle for a score of 22-under and finally secured a three-shot win over Ben Campbell.


#10 Dean Burmester

South African golfer Dean Burmester won the 2024 Vodacom Origins of Golf Final at Oubaai Golf Estate. He registered an easy seven-shot win in the game. Speaking of his victory, Dean said (via Supersport.com):

“It’s just great to be back in South Africa playing golf and competing for trophies. I love South African golf. It’s super special to win in front of so many friends and family. The South African hospitality is so special. The support we had and that super South African gees was just magnificent.”

#11 Lucas Herbert

Lucas Herbert won a tournament on the PGA Tour of Australasia, the NSW Open, held in November 2024. The Aussie golfer carded four rounds of 65, 65, 72, and 67 to settle for a total of 15-under and register a three-shot win over Corey Lamb, Alex Simpson, and Cam Smith.
