John Parry won the Mauritius Open with rounds of 70, 69, 71 and 64. His final round included one eagle, seven birdies and one bogey, helping him move up eight places on the leaderboard.
It had been 14 years since Parry had won a DP World Tour event (2010 Vivendi Cup). However, he won three Challenge Tour events in 2024 to regain his card on the main European circuit.
His victory at the Mauritius Open temporarily put him at the top of the Race to Dubai standings. In his previous three tournaments, the Englishman had two top-10 finishes, including a tie for second at the Alfred Dunhill Championship last week.
