The 2024 BMW Championship is set to take place at the Castle Pines Golf Club in Castle Rock, Colarado. The event spanning from August 22 to 25, marks the penultimate event in the FedEx Cup Playoffs before the final Tour Championship in Atlanta, Georgia.

After the conclusion of the 2024 FedEx St. Jude Championship, the field has been narrowed down from 70 to 50 players progessing to the Playoffs. The field this week in Colorado will see six past winners in the field.

Viktor Hovland seeks to defend his title at the BMW Championship this week. The Ryder Cup star carded in a four-round total of 17 under par to take home a grand cheque worth $3.6 million and 2,000 FedEx Cup points.

2022 BMW Championship winner, Patrick Cantlay, carded in rounds of three under par, three under par, six under par, and two under par, to take home the title. Having totaled 14 under par, the PGA Tour star earned $2.7 million. Cantlay also emerged victorious in 2021 where he totaled a whopping 27 under par for the week and took home $1,710,000 and 2,000 FedEx Cup points.

The 2020 edition of the tournament saw LIV Golf star, Jon Rahm, emerge victorious. Despite a five over-par score on the first day, he went on to card in rounds of one over par, four under par, and six under par, to bag the title. The former PGA Tour star went home with $1,710,000 and 1,500 FedEx Cup points.

Justin Thomas became the 2019 BMW Championship winner with an incredible 25 under-par score for the week. Having taken the title by three strokes, he earned $1,665,000 and 2,000 FedEx Cup points.
