2024 Buick LPGA Shanghai prize purse: How much will each golfer earn from the $2.1 million prize pool?

The 2024 LPGA Tour's Asian swing starts with the 2024 Buick LPGA Shanghai. The tournament will begin on 10 October at Qizhong Garden Golf Club in Minhang District, Shanghai, People's Republic of China. This is the first of the four Asian events on the LPGA Tour before moving back to the USA for the final few events.

Golfers are trying their best to accumulate as many Race to CME Globe points as possible, as only the top 60 golfers will get a chance to compete in the final CME Group Tour Championship.

The 2024 Buick LPGA Shanghai is only the fourth edition of the event, as it first started in 2018. However, the tournament had a hiatus due to the pandemic for around three years.

Danielle Kang won the first two editions of the Buick LPGA Shanghai, while Angel Yin is the defending champion. Both these golfers are in the field this week, along with prominent names like Rose Zhang, Hannah Green, Minjee Lee, and others.

The 2024 Buick LPGA Shanghai has a prize money purse of $2.1 million. The winner will receive $315,000, while the runner-up will get $198,083. Apart from monetary benefits, there are 500 Race to CME Globe points on offer.

The prize money purse for the LPGA Buick Shanghai has remained similar since the start of the tournament in 2018.
