Liz Young's victory at the Women's Indian Open moved her up to 12th on the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit. The top position is still held by rookie Chiara Tamburlini, who missed the cut in India.
Tamburlini sits atop the leaderboard with 2,623.44 points to her credit. She holds a significant 750-point advantage over second-placed Manon De Roey. With two events remaining on the official Ladies European Tour schedule, De Roey needs at least one win and one runner-up finish to knock the Swiss off the top spot.
Both Tamburlini and De Roey are strong contenders for two of the four LPGA Tour cards available at the end of the season. Pauline Roussin-Bouchard, Bronte Law and Shanon Tan are among those vying for the other two cards.
