The 2024 Open de France will begin on October 10th as the DP World Tour enters its final stages of the 2024 season. This is the second last event of the DP World Tour on the European leg before the action shifts to Asia for the final three events of the season.

The 2024 Paris Olympics golf competition host Le Golf National will continue to host this event as its association with the Open de France dates back to 1991. Le Golf National has hosted this event every year since then, apart from 1999 and 2001. The Le Golf National is a 7247-yard Par 71 championship course.

The field for the event includes prominent names like Justin Rose, Billy Horschel, Nicolai Hojhaard, Viktor Perez, and Francesco Molinari. Most golfers are looking to gain maximum Race to Dubai points to cement their positions for the season finale in Dubai.

The prize money purse for the event is similar to last year, with the winner receiving $552,500 from the total prize money purse of $3,250,000. Apart from monetary benefits, 5000 Race to Dubai points and 1500 Ryder Cup points are on offer.
