2025 Farmers Insurance Open Round 2 suspended due to darkness: Provisional leaderboard explored

The second round of the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open was suspended because of extreme winds. Earlier, after a suspension of an hour and 26 minutes, play resumed at 6:31 PM ET. However, the play was suspended again after a few hours due to darkness setting.

While most players completed the second round of the Farmers Insurance Open, 25 players will complete their remaining holes on January 24. Lanto Griffin and Ludvig Aberg have finished 36 holes and are tied for the lead with a total score of 6 under par.

Danny Walker follows in solo third place with a score of 5 under par after carding in a two over par 74 score at the Torry Pines North Course. Hayden Springer, Chris Gotterup, and Sungjae Im are tied for fourth place with a score of 4 under par through two rounds at the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open.

While a cut was to be expected following the second round of the Farmers Insurance Open, it will differ until all players are marked complete for the second round. The projected cut line currently sits at 1 over par.
