The 2024 ISCO Championship concluded its second round on Friday, July 12. Only players finishing above the cutline of -8 will compete in the final two rounds over the weekend. The PGA Tour event began on Thursday, July 11, at Keene Trace Golf Club. After 36 holes, Pierceson Coody topped the leaderboard with a score of -16.
The tournament features a regular field of PGA Tour players. While Kevin Tway, Mac Meissner, and JJ Spaun made the cut and will compete over the weekend, some players, including PGA Tour rookie Michael Thorbjornsen, struggled on the golf course and missed the cut.

#1 Michael Thorbjornsen
Michael Thorbjornsen, the runner-up at the recently concluded John Deere Classic, was the favorite to win the ISCO Championship following his performance last week.
However, the American golfer encountered difficulties this week, missing the cut. Thorbjornsen shot rounds of 73 and 72 to score +1 and missed the cut.
#2 Kevin Dougherty
Kevin Dougherty was also very close to making the cut, but a bogey in the second round resulted in him missing it. He started the game with a birdie on the first hole, followed by an eagle on the fifth. He shot four birdies and an eagle in the second round.
However, Dougherty had trouble on the seventh hole when he made a bogey and ultimately missed the cut by just one stroke.
#3 Blaine Hale Jr.
Blaine Hale Jr. played an impressive round of 5-under-67 on Friday but still missed the cut at the 2024 ISCO Championship. He started the second round with a birdie on the first hole and then added two bogeys on the third and fourth holes.
Hale Jr. added another birdie on the fifth hole and three back-to-back birdies from the seventh to ninth holes. He shot four birdies and two bogeys to score 67, making it a total of -7, and missed the cut by just one stroke.
#4 Matthias Schwab
Matthias Schwab was close to making the cut at the ISCO Championship. During the second round, he shot a bogey on the 14th but then made a birdie on the next hole.
However, Schwab added another bogey on the concluding hole and scored 69 in the round. With a total score of -6, he missed the cut by just two strokes. Schwab played both rounds of 69.
#5 Camilo Villegas
Camilo Villegas also missed the cut at the 2024 ISCO Championship. He started his game with a round of 73 and improved in the second round, but it was not enough to make the cut.
Villegas shot 68 on Friday with five birdies and a single bogey to finish with a total score of -3, missing the cut by five strokes.
