The second round of the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open was played on January 24 after being suspended on Thursday due to darkness. After all players had been marked completed for the round, a cut was imposed.

The top 55 players and ties made the cut at the event while those who carded in a total two-day score of 2-over par or worse did not. With the tough winds at the Torrey Pines North and South courses in California, many players found it hard to battle them.
