With the completion of the LIV Golf Chicago event, the individual winner of the season has been declared. Jon Rahm topped the individual standings, pocketing around $22 million on Sunday, 15 September, including $4 million in prize money for winning the Chicago event and $18 million for winning the individual championship. His total earnings from individual events on LIV Golf are recorded to be around $34.7 million, via Wikipedia.
However, this is less than last year’s individual champion, Talor Gooch, who earned $35.3 million. This season, Gooch struggled with his game and earned less than his last year’s earnings. Bryson DeChambeau also earned less than 2023 from LIV Golf.

After having quite a good season in 2023, winning two tournaments, Bryson DeChambeau struggled to have a single win in 2024. His best finish this season was a tied-for-third place at the Nashville event. He has seven finishes in the top 10, and as per Golf Monthly, he has earned $6,011,667 from regular individual LIV Golf events this year.
In comparison to his 2024 earnings, DeChambeau pocketed more in 2023. He finished fourth in the season standings last year and earned $13.3 million last year, which is more than double what he has earned this year.
#2. Talor Gooch

- 2023 Earnings: $35.3 million
Talor Gooch, who won the individual championship in 2023, struggled in 2024 and could only pocket around $6,153,536, which is less compared to his earnings last year.
Last season, the American golfer won three LIV Golf events and had two finishes in the top 10. He earned $17.3 million from individual events and $18 million in bonus for winning the individual championship for the season, making his total earnings to be around $35.3 million.

Cameron Smith also earned more in 2023 than in 2024. He had a remarkable season last year, where he won two tournaments and had four finishes in the top 10. The Aussie settled in second place in the season standings and earned a $10 million bonus along with total earnings from individual events around $11.9 million. He earned $21.9 million in 2023, while in 2024 he only earned $8.08 million.

- 2023 Earnings: $17.49 million
Brooks Koepka was impressive in 2023 and has fared well in 2024. But still, his earnings last season were higher than what he earned in 2024. Last season, he finished third in the season standings, and with that, a bonus of $4 million was added to his individual tournament earnings of $13.4 million. He earned $17.4 million in 2023, while in 2024, Golf Monthly reported his earnings to be around $8.3 million.
This season, Koepka has won two tournaments and has four top-10 finishes. Meanwhile, in 2023, he won two events and had only three finishes in the top 10, including two third-place finishes.

Harold Varner III had a fabulous season on LIV Golf in 2023. He won one tournament and had four finishes in the top 10. Meanwhile, in 2024, he struggled to have a single finish in the top 10.
His best this season was T13 at the recently concluded Chicago event. The American golfer earned $9.1 million in prize money in 2023, while in 2024, he earned $2.3 million.
